Jacob Amir has joined the Z&S Team as a Partner, bringing over 25 years of experience in real estate and construction law. Jacob will expand the firm’s land use, litigation, and transactional practices. Jacob has spent over two decades representing stakeholders on various development projects, including acquisitions and sales, guidance through the entitlement process, as well as financing. Jacob particularly enjoys assisting clients through the construction phase of a development project, and working with property owners and contractors to bring a project design to fruition. Jacob is also a goal-oriented litigator, having served as first-chair counsel on numerous business, construction, and property disputes throughout his career.
Jacob is the co-chair of the Westchester County Bar Association’s Construction Law Committee, and sits on the Legal Advisory Committee of the Associated General Contractors of New York State. He is also a member of the Village of Ardsley Zoning Board of Appeals, as well as an Adjunct Professor for the Pace University Paralegal Studies Program.
