Kate Roberts Feinman and Michael Zarin were part of a team that successfully represented developer Twining Properties in securing city approval for Pratt Landing, a transformative mixed-use waterfront development in New Rochelle featuring over 300 residential units, a hotel, retail and commercial space, and the revitalization of the historic New Rochelle Naval Armory.
Zarin & Steinmetz has guided the developer through many of the transactional steps in this complex land use and environmental project, including preparing the initial Land Disposition Agreement, obtaining legislative approval for the acquisition and assemblage of the development site, meeting various State park alienation requirements, and working with State agencies in the acquisition of State lands formerly under water and the creation of a waterfront park. Their expertise was instrumental in advancing a project that aligns with New Rochelle’s vision for sustainable and inclusive growth.
With construction set to begin in 2026, Zarin & Steinmetz looks forward to completing Twining Properties’ acquisition of the development site from the City of New Rochelle.
