David Cooper represented Broad Street Owner LLC in securing amended site plan approval from Port Chester’s Planning Commission for a 15-story mixed-use building in the center of downtown on Broad Street. This project, which has been in development for several years, aims to create a vibrant, transit-oriented community in the heart of Port Chester.
In 2019, Zarin & Steinmetz successfully petitioned the Board of Trustees to permit additional stories, leading to the creation of the CD-6T district near the train station, where 15-story buildings are now allowed. This mixed-use development is a cornerstone of Port Chester’s downtown revitalization efforts—designed to be the first landmark visible when stepping off the train at the Metro-North station.
