Daniel Richmond and Kate Roberts received final approvals from the Town of Southeast Planning Board in February of 2021 for a 921,100 square foot distribution center to be located at a 328-acre site in the Town. This cutting edge project, known as Commercial Campus at Fields Corner, includes two buildings ranging in size from 303,100 to 618,000 square feet. Zarin & Steinmetz worked closely with the Town and the project’s engineer, JMC, through a comprehensive review of the project under the State Environmental Quality Review ACT (SEQRA), which included the preparation on an environmental impact statement (EIS), and secured various approvals for the project, including: Special Permit Approval from the Town Board, and Site Plan Approval, a Wetlands Permit and Architectural Approval from the Town Planning Board. Zarin and Steinmetz also secured from the Town Board confirmation of the abandonment of a Town road that ran through the project site.
