Michael and Helen attended a ribbon cutting ceremony in the Town of Thompson for the opening of Resorts World Catskills casino and hotel with client EPR Properties. EPR is a publicly traded REIT based in Kansas City, Missouri, which owns the 1,700 acre development site. Over the past five years, Z&S has worked closely with EPR and a team of engineers, planners, contractors, and governmental officials, to facilitate development of this comprehensive resort destination, which will also include an indoor waterpark and hotel, golf course and entertainment village. Z&S successfully navigated multi-faceted regulatory, land use and environmental processes, and served as the developer’s counsel in connection with the construction and funding of over $110,000,000 in public infrastructure essential to the project.
