Zarin & Steinmetz Secures Rezoning for 55+ Townhouse Community in Yorktown

David Cooper and Jaclyn Cohen secured rezoning from the Town of Yorktown Town Board to facilitate Toll Brothers, Inc.’s proposed 118-unit, 55+ active adult townhouse community on a portion of the Field Home property on Catherine Street. The project involves subdividing a 2.46-acre portion of the Field Home property to accommodate the new residences, community amenities, and a 14.3-acre conservation area. Toll is also proposing to preserve a locally historic building, the Field Home, on a separate lot for future adaptive reuse by the Town.

The Town Board approved the rezoning and issued a Negative Declaration under SEQRA after a comprehensive review of traffic, ecological resources, visual assessments, and fiscal benefits. Zarin & Steinmetz and the Toll Team are now advancing the project to the subdivision and site plan review stage before the Yorktown Planning Board.
