Daniel Richmond and Kate Feinman secure $1,677,000 in funding from the New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative

Daniel Richmond and Kate Feinman have secured $1,677,000 in funding from the New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) for a new mixed-use development project at 49 West Broad Street in the Village of Haverstraw. The funds will be used to redevelop the currently blighted site with a new 5-story mixed-use building hosting 55 residential units, a café and community space. Governor Kathy Hochul announced that this project would be one of the 10 transformational projects in the Village that receive DRI funding. Funding was granted to projects that would help reinvigorate Haverstraw’s downtown, and improve recreation, housing and business opportunities throughout the Village. Dan and Kate, who previously obtained approval for the project, worked closely with the development team to prepare the application materials for the DRI funding and represented the developer at meetings to advocate for the project.
